Application Infrastructure Developer

All candidates must have the ability to work in Lansing, Michigan. Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated individual to join our Analytics Division as an Application Infrastructure (MLOps) Developer.

• development and support of software application infrastructure for new or existing systems, including but not limited to application deployment automation, repository maintenance, application security, scripting, performance monitoring, and third-party software administration.
• This position works directly with many key internal stakeholders such as software engineers, system administrators, database administrators, security engineers, and test automation engineers.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or another related degree is required.
• Candidates without a four-year degree, but with several years of relevant experience, may also be considered.
• Must be able to learn and effectively use tools and development techniques as practiced, acquired, or adopted within the Analytics Division.
• Some object-oriented development experience is strongly preferred (Python, C#, and/or Java).
• This experience can be from a course, class, or project.
• Experience with SQL, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Docker, Kubernetes, Power Shell, and/or SSRS/SSIS is preferred.
• Experience with machine learning operations tools such as MLFlow, Sage Maker, or model deployment pipelines is preferred.
