WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEEDBring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Service Now Developer Senior must have:
Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
Experience: 3+ years of related experience
Required Skills:- Strong proficiency with Service Now modules to include at least one of the following: ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and/or ITBM
- Experience with Service Now development, implementation, and administration
- Experience working with at least one of the following web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, XML, SOAP, and/or YAML
- Understanding of the Agile software testing process and lifecycle
- Understanding of ACLs, UI Policies, and Business Rules
- Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and develop effective solutions
- Ability to identify, understand, document, and create functionality aligning with customer value streams
- Capability to produce level of estimate and basic deployment plans for Service Now functionality
- Organizational and time management skills while working in a rapid software development environment
- Ability to identify and learn new technologies quickly
- Good communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Effective analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Required: Service Now Certified Systems Administrator (must possess or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire)

- Ideal candidates will be within 60 miles of GDIT’s Integrated Technology Center in Bossier City, Louisiana and will follow a hybrid work model
- Candidates within Louisiana more than 60 miles from GDIT’s Integrated Technology Center in Bossier City, Louisiana will follow a remote work model
- Candidates residing outside the state of Louisiana may be considered for remote work

The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
