Senior Software Engineer (Insurance) at Baires Dev

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in the Insurance domain, you will spearhead the development and modernization of business-critical systems. You will leverage your deep industry knowledge to enhance the efficiency of core insurance processes while maintaining high standards of software quality and architectural integrity.

• Design and evolve scalable backend services for policy administration and claims management.
• Lead legacy modernization initiatives to transition core insurance platforms to modern architectures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement complex business logic across life, P&C, and commercial auto sectors.
• Optimize the performance and reliability of underwriting systems to support high-volume transactions.
• Ensure technical excellence by defining best practices and providing architectural guidance for insurance-focused products.

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on the insurance domain.
• Proven expertise in developing and modernizing policy administration, claims, and underwriting systems.
• Advanced proficiency in backend stacks and legacy system modernization.
• Deep understanding of various insurance sectors including life, P&C, and commercial auto.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
