Test Engineer (Autonomy) at Baires Dev
As a Test Engineer (Autonomy), you will be responsible for validating autonomous vehicle behaviors and ensuring the safety of complex autonomy logic. You will focus on creating sophisticated testing environments that replicate real-world challenges, allowing for rigorous assessment and optimization of vehicle software.
What You'll Do- Design and implement comprehensive simulation pipelines to evaluate autonomous vehicle performance.
- Develop diverse testing scenarios that stress-test autonomy logic across various operational domains.
- Oversee large-scale data analysis to identify edge cases and drive improvements in system reliability.
- Manage offline evaluation frameworks to provide actionable feedback for engineering teams.
- Establish robust automated testing protocols to streamline the verification process for mission-critical software.
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, QA, or Validation Engineering roles.
- Proven expertise in autonomous vehicle validation, simulation pipelines, and scenario generation.
- Hands-on experience with simulation frameworks such as CARLA or NVIDIA DRIVE Sim.
- Advanced proficiency in Python for large-scale data analysis and pipeline ownership.
- Deep understanding of offline evaluation and testing methodologies for autonomy logic.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
