About the Role:

As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer specializing in Knowledge Graphs, you'll be at the forefront of Prophecy's AI-native data platform. You'll design, build, and scale knowledge graph systems that power intelligent data preparation and analysis, integrating cutting‑edge AI agents with enterprise‑scale data infrastructure. This is a high‑impact technical leadership role where you'll own end‑to‑end projects and shape the future of how enterprises understand and leverage their data.

• Expertise in building and managing Knowledge Graphs, including entity extraction, linkage, and ontology design
• Experience integrating Knowledge Graphs with AI systems for retrieval, reasoning, and agent context (e.g., enriching with LLM)
• Tech lead experience:
  Owning end-to-end KG projects, from design to deployment, with leadership in cross‑functional teams
• Versatile software developer: fluency in Python, REST APIs, microservices in public cloud; some experience with Go, AWS, Kubernetes, Java, Scala
• Hands‑on experience in developing, optimizing, and operating Neo4j or similar graph databases
• Demonstrated experience taking ideas to production with a strong bias toward action and delivery

• Advanced ML/LLM Work — ML/LLM work in code generation (e.g., Codex, text‑to‑SQL), semantic extraction, or knowledge graphs (e.g., Neo4j, Neptune)
• Big Data Experience — Experience with big‑data engines like Spark for processing massive datasets
• Compiler Development — Compiler development for languages like SQL, Python, or Scala
• Production ML Optimization — Optimization of ML models for low‑latency, high‑throughput production use
• Open Source Contributions — Contributions to open‑source AI/ML projects (e.g., Hugging Face, PyTorch)
• Retrieval Systems Expertise — Expertise in retrieval systems or vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate)
