Lead Data Engineer (Python) at Baires Dev

As a Lead Data Engineer (Python), you will spearhead the design and optimization of robust data pipelines while guiding engineering talent to deliver high-quality data solutions. You will serve as a key technical champion, aligning complex operational requirements with scalable backend architecture.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering technical growth and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Design, construct, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to automate data ingestion and transformation processes.
  • Architect and manage complex workflow orchestration systems to streamline data processing workflows.
  • Drive database optimization and efficient extraction strategies across enterprise database environments.
  • Oversee the migration and modernization of legacy data pipelines into advanced architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define engineering standards and technical roadmaps.
What We Are Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Python Development, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in workflow orchestration using Temporal, Airflow, or equivalent.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server, stored procedures, and data extraction.
  • Experience with data pipeline design and migration using tools like Talend or Airflow.
  • Demonstrated ability in team mentoring and stakeholder alignment.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
