AWS Data Engineer at Baires DevIn this role, you'll build ETL/ELT pipelines on AWS, leveraging Glue and Redshift to move and transform data reliably lying strong data cataloging and observability practices, you'll ensure data pipelines remain trustworthy and well-governed as they grow. This is your opportunity to deepen your AWS data engineering expertise, building cloud-native pipelines that support critical business decisions.
What You'll Do- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines on AWS using Glue and Redshift.
- Implement data cataloging practices to ensure data assets are discoverable and well-governed.
- Set up observability and monitoring across AWS-based data pipelines.
- Conduct data QA to ensure accuracy and reliability of data assets.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
- Strong experience with ETL/ELT development.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, including Glue and Redshift.
- Experience with data cataloging using Collibra or similar tools.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with observability and monitoring for data pipelines.
- Background in data QA.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- Experience with AI tooling or MCP servers.
- Background in data lake architecture using Redshift.
- Experience with CDC tools such as Qlik Replicate or DMS.
- Knowledge of insurance data models.
- Experience with event-driven architecture.
