ResponsibilitiesThe Technical Program Manager partners with engineering leaders, product managers, and stakeholders across Git Hub to build and execute comprehensive program plans, manage dependencies and risks, and ensure teams deliver high‑quality outcomes. TPMs provide clear communication, drive alignment, and help leaders make informed decisions throughout the lifecycle of complex initiatives.
Successful TPMs are technically credible, operationally rigorous, and comfortable navigating ambiguity. They bring together diverse teams, balance competing priorities, and make thoughtful tradeoff recommendations that optimize for overall program success.
