ServiceNow Developer

Dev Technology Group is looking to onboard a Service Now Application developer with specific, tangible experience or certifications in the following:

• Current Service Now System administration certification
• Experience with App Engine
• Custom scoped application development

What You'll Be Doing:

Serve as a Service Now developer on a cross-functional development team;

• Design and develop custom scoped applications on the Now Platform to meet business requirements, including implementation of ACLs, client scripts, UI Builder, business rules, workflows, and custom Service Portal widgets, including advanced scripting of each
• Collaborate with application teams to design and implement data interfaces with other enterprise application systems
• Develop and manage operational metrics reporting and dashboards
• Support the development and analysis of customer requirements and assist with the development of user stories
• Perform application testing

Required Education,

Skills and Experience:

• Service Now Systems Administration certification required
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, with 2-3+ years of relevant experience
• 3 or more years of development experience using the Service Now platform
• Experience with use of Agile methodologies for software development
• Experience with App Engine and building Service Now applications
• In depth knowledge of development on the Service Now Platform, including client and server scripting, Service Now REST APIs, and custom widget development in Service Portal.
• Experience with working to support a Federal Law Enforcement agency a plus.
• Knowledge of Service Now development and configuration best practices
• Knowledge of Service Now database hierarchies and design
• Experience with development, customization, and administration of multiple components of Service Now
• Excellent communications skills
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Additional experience or certifications in other Service Now applications such as CMDB, or Service Portal for example is a plus

Preferred Education

Skills and Experience:

• Service Now Application Development certification is strongly preferred
• Experience with Angular
• Experience or training with React
• Other Service Now certifications are a plus
• Service Now AI experience

"Our estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $140,000, this presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offered salary is based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role.
