Senior Java Engineer
Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered. We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer and Technical Anchor to architect new product features, decompose complex tasks for development teams, and write robust Spring Boot and MongoDB code utilizing strict SOLID principles.
Summary:
- Serve as a technical anchor and feature lead to architect, design, and implement new software capabilities.
- Translate complex requirements into robust, documented technical designs using Object-Oriented principles.
- Coordinate with integrated feature teams and systems engineering to ensure high-quality delivery across the full development lifecycle.

Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - Years of experience: 12+ years
- Total Compensation: $348k+ yearly
Job Description:
Lead architectural analysis and design documentation, ensuring seamless integration without technical debt. Act as feature lead driving the definition of done from initial concept through development, testing, and deployment. Deconstruct high-level feature designs into actionable tasks, track feature status, and mentor engineering team members. Conduct comprehensive merge request reviews to maintain code quality, security protocols, and performance benchmarks. Develop and maintain software leveraging Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, and the ELK stack.
