Who We Are:

Exiger transforms supply chains into a strategic advantage, advancing our mission to make the world a safer and more transparent place to succeed. Our AI platform, 1

Exiger, delivers instant visibility into complex supplier ecosystems, leveraging proprietary data and advanced AI to surface risk, automate compliance, and unlock efficiencies and cost savings to strengthen long-term resilience. Engineering | Platform Engineering | Hybrid (US) U.S. Citizenship Required

We're looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to own and evolve critical parts of Exiger's platform, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, secrets and identity, observability, and automated compliance controls.

The strongest candidates are excellent problem solvers who are also genuinely great to work with. Platform engineering only creates value when engineering teams adopt and trust the platform, so this role requires both deep technical expertise and strong communication, collaboration, and influence.

What You'll Do
  • Design and build reusable platform components, including Terraform modules, Helm charts, and pipeline templates, with reliable interfaces that engineering teams can adopt.
  • Operate production Amazon EKS and multi-account AWS environments, including networking, identity, and secrets management.
  • Translate FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and SOC 2 requirements into automated technical controls and continuously auditable systems.
  • Extend platform capabilities into AWS Gov Cloud to support federal workloads.
  • Build observability and reliability practices that make production behavior visible, measurable, and recoverable.
  • Partner directly with product engineering teams to identify and eliminate day-to-day development and operational friction.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, lead incident response, and drive durable fixes that improve platform reliability.
  • Solve ambiguous technical problems using data, experimentation, and evidence rather than assumptions.
What You'll Bring
  • Strong production experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
  • A track record of solving complex or poorly defined problems through investigation and evidence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to engineers, security teams, and product leaders.
  • Experience driving adoption of platform capabilities across teams you do not directly manage.
  • Hands-on experience implementing cloud security and compliance controls.
  • Experience developing tooling and automation with Python or Go.
  • U.S. citizenship, required for access to Exiger's FedRAMP federal environments where legally required.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:
  • FedRAMP, FISMA, IL4/IL5, or CMMC environments
  • AWS Gov Cloud
  • Policy-as-code
  • Hashi Corp Vault
  • Multi-region disaster recovery
  • Internal developer platforms
  • Automated compliance and continuous authorization practices
Why This Role Matters

Everything Exiger ships—commercial and federal—moves through our platform.

As a Platform Engineer, your work will have an organization-wide impact. By making our platform faster, safer, more reliable, and easier to use, you'll help engineering teams move faster while giving Exiger the foundation needed to serve customers in highly regulated federal environments.

Why You'll Love Working at Exiger:

  • High-performance culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence.
  • Discretionary Time Off for all employees, with no maximum limits on time off
  • Industry leading health, vision, and dental benefits
  • Competitive compensation package
  • 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave
  • Flexible, hybrid approach to working from home and in the office where applicable
  • Focus on wellness and employee health through stipends and dedicated wellness programming
  • Purposeful career development programs with reimbursement provided for educational certifications

Exiger's hybrid work policy is periodically reviewed and adjusted to align with evolving business needs.
