Service Now Developer

100% Remote

Duration: 12 months

Pay rate: 60 - 68/hr on W2 (All Inclusive)

We are seeking a Service Now Developer with a strong focus on workflow design and automation. This role will support the development, configuration, and optimization of Service Now workflows to improve operational efficiency and user experience across the organization. This includes multiple instances and a complex development ecosystem.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3–5 years of Service Now development experience
• Strong expertise in Flow Designer and/or Service Now Workflow Editor
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and Service Now scripting
• Experience with Service Now data model, UI policies, business rules, and client scripts
• Hands-on experience with integrations (REST/SOAP, JSON, XML)
• Advanced knowledge of Service Now back-end functionality and operations, including working across multiple application scopes, and system table structure
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced remote-work environment
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Develop and maintain custom workflows/flows, APIs and other capabilities as needed/assigned.
• Develop and maintain unit tests as part of development cycle.
• Maintain Knowledge Articles as associated with functionality and as assigned.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
