Role Overview
We are seeking an OnBase Engineer to develop integration components that interact directly with Filevine and OnBase applications. This role involves estimating development effort, designing and coding integration components, and developing in accordance with the overall integration architecture. The position is a long-term project with a duration of three years.
Key Responsibilities
- Estimate the effort required for development tasks, including new development, modifying existing applications, and creating integration points.
- Develop in accordance with the overall integration architecture defined by the Solution Architect and Lead Engineer.
- Design and code integration components, including plug-ins, messaging, business rules, and programs that call application APIs.
- Set up and create unit tests to validate functionality and test coded components.
- Resolve defects identified during unit testing.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following application integration experience and skills. Training on the Filevine application will be provided.
Experience:
- 10+ years of programming experience with C#, Visual Basic, and other C-family languages.
- 5+ years of experience with modern technologies such as SQL, XML, and scripting languages.
- 5+ years of experience with integration development, including APIs, webhooks, and secure file transfer protocols.
- 5+ years of experience with API development, including an understanding of OpenAPI, Swagger, and JSON.
- Prior OnBase developer experience.
- Prior OnBase Capture Process Designer developer experience.
Technical
Skills:
- Familiarity with leveraging modern integrated development environments (IDE).
- Ability to work as a team member in a collaborative and cross-functional manner.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with xPressions.
- Experience with K2.
- Knowledge of document generation, document management, and document conditioning.
- Experience with workflows.
- Familiarity with Azure.
Work Environment
Work is generally performed within an office or home office environment. The working environment is generally favorable, with no exposure to hazardous conditions caused by noise, dust, or other factors.
Physical Requirements
- Stand or sit at a workstation for the majority of each shift.
- Communicate with others, typically through speaking and hearing.
- Use a computer to enter and screen data.
Additional Details
The position is scheduled for Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST.
