Position Overview
Sova is the open interoperable network for native BTC wealth products. Hiring a blockchain infrastructure engineer to pioneer network infrastructure. Remote + full benefits + token allocation. We are looking for a motivated full‑stack developer to pioneer application development on this cutting‑edge platform. This role combines traditional full‑stack responsibilities—building and maintaining both the frontend and backend of web applications—with specialized knowledge of crypto‑centric tools and frameworks.
As our first dedicated app developer, you’ll have an outsized impact: not only in architecting and implementing decentralized applications on our network but also in ideating and shaping what these apps could be.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services (e.g., REST or GraphQL APIs, server‑side business logic).
- Build responsive, high‑performance frontends with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or similar) and crypto‑specific frontend libraries (wagmi, ethers.js).
- Ensure reliable integration with the Sova’s node APIs and deployed smart contracts.
- Manage user flows such as transaction signing, key management, and on‑chain data handling.
- Work closely with product owners, designers, and the core blockchain team to brainstorm, plan, and execute new application concepts.
- Translate user requirements and feedback into innovative features and system designs.
- 3+years of proven development experience building apps with significant userbases.
- Strong grasp of Type Script for both client and server‑side development.
- Familiarity with wallet and smart‑contract integration.
- Comfortable working with databases (SQL and/or No
SQL) and designing scalable data models. - Knowledge of REST, GraphQL, or comparable API design paradigms.
- Familiarity with modern Dev Ops practices and basic application deployment pipelines.
- Experience launching decentralized applications on EVM or SVM networks.
- Working knowledge of Solidity, ability to read smart contracts and use related smart‑contract security and simulation tools (e.g. Tenderly).
- Experience contributing to or building open‑source projects.
- Passion for the Bitcoin ecosystem and its broader implications on blockchain technology.
- Primary Language:
Type Script. - A well‑known frontend framework of your choosing (e.g. React).
- A server‑side language and implementation of your choosing (e.g. Type Script).
- AWS for Dev Ops and deployment.
- Self‑motivated with ability to work independently.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on security and reliability.
- Collaborative approach to development and code review.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Equivalent practical experience will be considered.

About UsCheck us out at https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Sova is a new blockchain designed to add programmability to Bitcoin. While Bitcoin secures the most global economic value of any blockchain, applications and utility beyond value storage and exchange via $BTC are limited. Sova introduces a new EVM‑compatible blockchain with a set of precompile‑based VM extensions, combined with validator‑level bindings to Bitcoin Core, that enables a smart contract execution environment to interact with Bitcoin and its native assets, such as BTC, Runes and Ordinals.
Using pooled security from Ethereum mainnet, the network will quickly bootstrap its economic security to the requisite level for enforcing honest, user‑initiated operation on Bitcoin and interaction with Bitcoin‑native assets.
Interested candidates should submit their resume, Git Hub profile, and any relevant open‑source contributions or technical projects.
