• 5–10 years of QA/testing experience in backend or platform engineering
• Hands‑on experience with performance and load testing tools (k6, Artillery, JMeter, Gatling, or Locust)
• Ability to analyze performance metrics — P50/P95/P99 latencies, throughput, error rates, CPU/memory utilization
• Strong experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST clients, curl, supertest)
• Experience testing event-driven architectures (Kafka, message queues)
• Familiarity with Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes-based deployments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Git Lab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent)

• Validate CI/CD pipelines (Git Lab CI) — ensure builds, tests, and deployments function correctly
• Perform regression testing for Node.js runtime upgrades (e.g., Node 18 → Node 24 migrations)
• Collaborate with developers to define acceptance criteria and testability requirements
• Monitor and validate application performance using Datadog APM (dd-trace)
• Test Redis cluster interactions, DynamoDB operations, and Kafka consumer/producer flows
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Global Logic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed in Denver, CO to be $115,000 to $120,000 and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good-faith estimate, and the amount offered may be higher or lower.
