Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cold Fusion Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining web applications using Cold Fusion and related technologies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Cold Fusion, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Modernize and support legacy Cold Fusion applications.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to define project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues promptly.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and project outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Cold Fusion development.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases such as MSSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with Cold Fusion MVC frameworks (e.g., Cold Box, FW/1, CFWheels).
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., jQuery, Vue.js, AngularJS, or ReactJS).
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with Docker or containerization technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience in modernizing legacy systems and integrating new technologies.
