About the Role
The Associate Quantitative Modeler and Developer will be a software engineering role for the development, deployment, and maintenance of a variety of applications, models, and algorithms to be used across the derivatives front office. The individual will support efforts in financial engineering, investment decision‑making, quantitative analytics, and operational streamlining.
What You Will Do- Architect, test, implement and maintain applications, trading algorithms, and production processes and systems. Support development of a variety of internal UIs, APIs, and tools for desktop and AWS deployment aimed at improving the trading and investment process. Utilize data visualization toolsets, such as Power BI, to create key trading and portfolio management analytics.
- Assist in the development of quantitative pricing models and risk modules implementing best practices in quantitative finance and risk management. Help develop risk analytics methodologies supporting hedging strategy and new product initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics or engineering.
- 2‑5 years of experience in application development in a high‑level language (Python, C#, VBA) and database management (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar). Experience in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud deployment. Additional experience preferred in C/C++, MS Office automation, and Power BI or a similar data visualization platform.
- 2‑5 years of experience with application development in a bank, insurance company, or asset management firm, including financial market data processing.
- A roll‑up-the‑sleeves, “get it done” work ethic that supports the completion of tasks within specified time frames, understanding that the work requirements of the position may sometimes embed inflexible deadlines.

Salary Range: $117,000 – $195,100 plus eligibility for an annual bonus program.
