Job Description

Mission Technologies' System Integration group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Integrated Training Systems Software Development (ITS-SD) team. This full-time remote position supports the design, development, and deployment of both shore-based and shipboard software applications, including the Joint After Action Review (JAAR) and Data Collection and Display (DCD) systems.

Job Responsibilities

+ Collaborate with a small Agile software team and customers to support sprint planning, execution, and reviews

+ Develop software solutions by interpreting requirements and consulting with end users

+ Investigate and resolve system issues, including analyzing and resolving Software Trouble Reports

+ Create and maintain software development documentation, including notebooks, sequence diagrams, and dependencies

+ Write clean, maintainable code with strong commenting and documentation practices

+ Perform hands-on development and troubleshooting, using innovative approaches to solve technical problems

+ Conduct developer testing in lab environments and shipboard settings (as required) to verify compliance with requirements
