Senior Workato Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Workato Engineer to join our team and drive enterprise automation and integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining Workato integrations across various business applications and enterprise systems.

This is a 100% remote position; however, candidates must be comfortable working according to the EST time zone. Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Workato recipes and integrations.
• Build and manage API-based integrations and webhook-driven workflows.
• Integrate enterprise applications such as Salesforce, Workday, Net Suite, Slack, and Google Workspace.
• Perform data transformation and mapping using JSON and XML.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance integration performance.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand automation requirements.
• Implement secure authentication methods including OAuth, API keys, and SAML.
• Support change management, deployment processes, and integration governance.
• Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to best practices.

• 4-6 years of overall experience with Workato.
• Strong expertise in API integrations, webhooks, and workflow automation.
• Hands-on experience integrating SaaS applications.
• Experience with JSON, XML, and data transformation.
• Experience troubleshooting and optimizing integrations.
• Understanding of authentication and security practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Experience with AI-powered automation solutions.
• Exposure to chatbot integrations or RPA tools such as UiPath or Automation Anywhere.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, or enterprise automation projects.
