Senior Data Reliability Engineer at Baires DevIn this role, you'll build a new data quality layer, implementing freshness, volume, and schema checks across pipelines, plus reconciliation between source feeds and Gold-layer tables. Wiring alerting into existing observability tooling, you'll ensure issues are caught early, before they can impact downstream consumers. This is your opportunity to build real technical guardrails around critical reference and pricing data, strengthening reliability across a growing data platform.
WhatYou'll Do
- Implement data quality checks for freshness, volume, and schema across pipelines.
- Build reconciliation processes between source feeds and Gold-layer tables.
- Wire alerting into existing observability tooling to catch issues before they escape.
- Define and support recovery objectives for prioritized, business-critical datasets.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data reliability engineering.
- Strong experience implementing data quality frameworks.
- Experience with data observability tooling.
- Hands-on experience with Datadog.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- 100% remote work (from anywhere).
