What You Will Do - Essential FunctionsThe Software Engineer designs, builds, and maintains scalable Ruby on Rails applications that support business‑critical workflows and integrate with internal and external systems. This role partners closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high‑quality, well‑tested solutions, take ownership of features end to end, and contribute to systems that improve access to care in the Behavioral Health space.
Application Development- Design, build, and maintain Ruby On Rails web-based application, APIs, relational databases, and automated testing.
- Develop and support system integrations and ensure application quality through testing and performance monitoring.
Partner closely with Project Managers and Business Analysts to execute delegated tasks and implement documented business requirements.
- Contribute technical expertise to development efforts while supporting overall IT department goals.
Participate in application monitoring and on-call production support, including nights and weekends, as required.
- Identify and support emerging technologies, demonstrating flexibility to meet evolving IT and business demands.
- Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems/Technology, or Two (2) year Degree Program from an accredited technical school, or Certifications on multiple technologies from an accredited training program.
- 3+ years of job experience in Software Engineering.
- Must have at least 3 years of professional development experience in Ruby on Rails using git.
