Senior Software Engineer – C++ Remote; India & Selected

Sidram Tech is seeking an experienced, highly technical, and accomplished Senior Software Engineer - C++ with 3+ years of professional software engineering and systems development experience to join our client engagement team on a 3-month contract basis on a full-time remote schedule (with a mandatory 4-hour PST overlap; immediate start; open to candidates in India and selected countries). In this specialized C++ software engineering and backend development role, you will spearhead designing, building, testing, and optimizing high-performance C++ applications, containerized microservices, and distributed systems.

You will work closely with engineering leads, product managers, and remote development squads to deliver robust, scalable software solutions. Ideal candidates bring a robust academic degree in computer science or software engineering, deep practical mastery of modern C++, Git version control, Docker containerization, and immediate availability for deployment.

As a Senior Software Engineer - C++ at Sidram Tech, you will take full ownership of developing core software modules, writing clean and maintainable C++ code, managing containerized deployment workflows via Docker, and maintaining version control best practices utilizing Git and Git Hub. Your day-to-day responsibilities encompass solving complex algorithmic problems, optimizing system memory and execution speed, participating in peer code reviews, and maintaining a 4-hour daily overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST) operational hours.

You will collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to troubleshoot production software defects, integrate backend APIs, and ensure strict adherence to software engineering standards. Working in a fast-paced remote technology consulting environment, you will drive software reliability and technical excellence.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance C++ software applications, libraries, and backend systems.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and robust C++ code adhering to modern programming standards and design patterns.
• Manage source code versioning, branch management, pull request reviews, and collaboration workflows utilizing Git and Git Hub.
• Containerize applications, manage container images, and configure reproducible deployment environments utilizing Docker.
