Junior Java Developer – Canada Remote
Location: Canada – Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 3 +Years
Job SummaryWe are looking for a motivated Junior Java Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java programming, experience with Spring Boot, and an interest in building scalable and reliable applications.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, test, debug, and maintain Java-based applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code.
- Work with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL
. - Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Troubleshoot application issues and resolve bugs.
- Collaborate with senior developers, QA engineers, and other team members.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and development activities.
- Learn and apply new technologies as required.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Java development
. - Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, and Multithreading
. - Experience with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of SQL and relational databases
. - Familiarity with Git/version control.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Exposure to Microservices architecture
. - Basic knowledge of Docker or cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP
. - Familiarity with React, Angular, or another frontend technology.
- Experience with JUnit or other testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering
, or a related field.
