Location : 85% Remote, but must be located within the Metro Atlanta area for 15% onsite work
Job Description:We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in C#, .NET Core, and MS SQL. As a critical member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing reliable, high-performance server-side applications. You’ll work closely with our frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to create scalable solutions that support seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and robust code using C# and .NET Core.
Develop and optimize backend components, including APIs and services, that support user-facing features.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new backend functionalities.
Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of backend services, contributing ideas for improvements.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Troubleshoot and debug issues across the backend, optimizing performance where necessary.
Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in backend development.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in backend development.
Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core.
Expertise in working with MS SQL and database management principles.
Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating them with frontend applications.
Proficiency in performance optimization and troubleshooting in backend systems.
Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies for backend systems.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
