Position Overview

The Venue & Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing rental agreements for gyms, fields, and other community venues. This role is critical to ensuring that i9 Sports has the right locations to deliver an outstanding youth sports experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential venues (schools, community centers, parks, churches, private facilities) suitable for i9 Sports programs.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with school districts, city recreation departments, and private landlords.
  • Negotiate rental agreements, secure permits, and ensure compliance with all local regulations and insurance requirements.
  • Maintain a master schedule of all venue bookings and coordinate with the operations team to avoid conflicts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for facilities on game days and during events.
  • Track venue costs and provide budget recommendations for new and existing programs.
  • Assist with logistical setup requirements (e.g., signage, equipment storage permissions, access to restrooms and parking).
Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Negotiation and contract management experience preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple venue contracts at once.
  • Knowledge of local communities and school systems a plus.
  • Flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
  • Passion for youth sports and community programs.
