- $13.50 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)

- Supervise and support safe climbing practices during open hours and special events.
- Accurately tie, check, and verify climbing knots and equipment for safe use.
- Track participation and complete shift reports using facility management software.
- Assist with the planning, promotion, and execution of climbing events and competitions. Maintain a clean and hazard‑free climbing environment through regular inspections and sanitation tasks.
- Enforce safety, participant, and employee policies set by Team Wellness & Health Promotion.
- Attend required trainings and actively participate in team meetings. Wear PPE as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Basic knowledge of climbing techniques.
- Ability to teach effectively in one‑on‑one or group situations.
- Ability to push and pull 50 pounds of weight.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid/AED, or ability to obtain within 2 weeks of hire.
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check.
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

- Knowledge of advanced rock climbing techniques and safe practices.
- Experience with outdoor, sport, lead, or traditional climbing.
- PCIA (Professional Climbers In America) Certification or similar.
