• $13.50 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 5-15 hours per week

• Supervise and support safe climbing practices during open hours and special events.
• Accurately tie, check, and verify climbing knots and equipment for safe use.
• Track participation and complete shift reports using facility management software.
• Assist with the planning, promotion, and execution of climbing events and competitions. Maintain a clean and hazard‑free climbing environment through regular inspections and sanitation tasks.
• Enforce safety, participant, and employee policies set by Team Wellness & Health Promotion.
• Attend required trainings and actively participate in team meetings. Wear PPE as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Basic knowledge of climbing techniques.
• Ability to teach effectively in one‑on‑one or group situations.
• Ability to push and pull 50 pounds of weight.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid/AED, or ability to obtain within 2 weeks of hire.
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check.

• Knowledge of advanced rock climbing techniques and safe practices.
• Experience with outdoor, sport, lead, or traditional climbing.
• PCIA (Professional Climbers In America) Certification or similar.
