* * Overview:
** Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital Wellness Center is hiring a
** Lifeguard
* * The Lifeguard oversees pools and activities of swimmers by enforcing rules and regulations. They provide regular supervision of the entire pool area and adjacent areas and complete daily cleaning tasks. They clean and maintain the pool, including completing daily water chemistry readings and applying appropriate amounts of chemicals to sustain a safe aquatics environment.  They perform rescues of persons in distress or in danger of drowning when indicated and provide emergency care as needed.###

** Certification/Licensure
*** Certification in life saving and/or water safety from a recognized certifying organization, including but not limited to American Red Cross, Ellis and Associates, American Aquatics and Safety Training, and Star Guard (Required)###
** Experience
