Our truck drivers are reliable and dependable and represent Helena in a courteous and professional manner while out on the road and at the home office. Drivers use tact and diplomacy in every aspect of the job when working with customers, other Helena employees, and leaders.

• Assist in loading trailer with materials.
• Unload trailer by using forklift or hand truck.
• Transport loads over required route to proper destinations.
• Obtain shipping bills and necessary signatures.
• Return completed paperwork to the shipping office.
• Remove empty skids from trailer truck and carry them to designated piling area.
• Perform miscellaneous service duties on vehicle including checking oil, water, gasoline, and air in tires daily.
• Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
• Perform other work‑related duties as assigned by leader.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

• Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat endorsement is required.

• Ability to read, write and speak in English is required.
• Communicating in Spanish is a valuable skill at Helena.
• Valid U.S. driver's license is required to drive a company vehicle. Must meet all company requirements to drive a Helena vehicle.
• Successful completion of a drug test and background check is required for all positions at Helena.

Safety is our highest priority. The work environment is a warehouse/outdoor setting where noise levels are usually moderate to loud and occasionally very loud. You will work outdoors in all types of weather conditions with exposure to outdoor elements and in the warehouse, around moving equipment and mechanical parts. Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and biological hazards, vibrations, and a risk of electrical shock is possible.

This position requires the use of hands for many tasks and involves talking, hearing, walking, sitting, standing (8+ hours a day), lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling (up to and including 50 lbs), reaching overhead (up to and including 25 lbs), climbing, gripping, grasping, twisting, bending, stooping for long periods, working below knee levels for short periods, and working above shoulder level for short periods.
