CDL Driver

Job Summary

The ideal Delivery Driver will be at least 23 years of age and have an interest in providing exceptional service in a timely manner by making local deliveries to commercial construction sites and home offices/shops.

Job Type: Full‑time

• Perform pre‑trip inspections of vehicle, equipment, paperwork, and loaded product
• Make deliveries to customer job sites or home offices using a company vehicle
• Load orders for delivery on the truck and unload at the customer job site/home office while maintaining inventory accuracy
• Maintain a neat, safe, and organized work environment
• Ensure that manifests and electronic orders are complete and accurate
• Provide timely, accurate, and courteous customer service
• Check in with customers via company technology at each designated account, announce arrival, and serve as company liaison
• Prepare and maintain records in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Communicate from the field with the dispatcher, customer service, and/or branch logistics

• Monday through Friday
• Start time approximately 4 a.m.
• CDL preferred or required
• Must show proof of a current, valid Medical DOT Card before hire

• Must be 23 years of age or older
• 2‑5 years driving experience
• Pre‑employment drug screening and driver record check required
• Current, valid Medical DOT Card
• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
• Excellent knowledge of the local delivery area
• Ability to sit in vehicle for long periods of time
• Must be able to work in various climate conditions such as cold, heat, humidity for long periods of time
• Ability to crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl, and twist for lifting
