Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring on-time delivery of materials and finished goods, and supporting efficient transportation and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule and track inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods shipments.
  • Communicate daily with carriers to confirm pickup and delivery appointments.
  • Prepare shipping documentation (BOLs, packing lists, and commercial invoices).
  • Monitor freight costs and ensure proper billing and invoice accuracy.
  • Escalate and resolve delivery delays or service failures.
  • Coordinate dock schedules to prevent congestion.
  • Ensure accurate shipment quantities and documentation.
  • Assist with returns processing and claims management.
  • Work with Production and Materials teams to prioritize urgent shipments.
  • Communicate shipment status to Customer Service and Sales.
  • Support Procurement with inbound delivery tracking.
  • Maintain shipment logs and freight tracking reports.
  • Update shipment data in ERP and WMS systems.
Requirements
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or related field, or 1-3 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or transportation.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Net Suite).
  • Strong Excel and data entry accuracy skills.
Work Arrangement

This role is based fully onsite and is not eligible for hybrid or remote work opportunities.
