Location: Bridgeton
Fox Trot Aviation Services seeks a consistently hard‑working 3rdShift Aviation Supervisor committed to reliable quality service, cost management, and building a rock‑solid team.
Based out of the St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL), this is a night shift position requiring flexible availability, including weekends and some holidays.
1‑3 years of management or supervisory experience preferred. Must be willing to perform very physical work and have an open schedule availability.
Responsibilities1. Leading customer service and cabin cleanings (85% cleaning, 15% office work)
- Lead cabin cleanings to a very high level of detail in cockpit, galley, lavatory, and passenger seating area.
- Clean aircraft exteriors, sometimes outside and in inclement weather.
- Clean facilities to a high level of detail where required.
- Perform cabin walks for quality control according to checklist standards.
- Organize the team to maximize labor hours and effective cleaning.
- Ensure highest safety standards while work is ongoing.
Success metric: high cabin scores and high internal/external quality audit scores.
2. Maintain cost metrics and paperwork to ensure profitability and compliance
- Produce weekly and monthly staff schedules (5 to 15 team members) aligning with labor metrics.
- Ensure adequate hours for crew retention.
- Keep full records of badging complaints with airport rules.
- Fill out HIT forms as hazards are identified.
- Complete online forms and upload signed do‑lists throughout the night.
- Take inventory and place orders with logistics manager.
Success metric: twofold – (a) 100% compliance on closeout forms, checklists, debriefs; (b) labor metric adherence within tolerances on the pulse sheet.
3. Build a rock‑solid team, communicate, collaborate with home office.
- Maintain positive daily communication with the team.
- Set elevation goals (development plans) for each member in partnership with Operations Manager.
- Train team on quality work, checklist usage, and safety.
- Collaborate with back office to post ads, interview, hire based on values of GRIT, Solidarity, Client Focus, Safety, Accountability; ensure timely badging and onboarding.
- Complete disciplinary forms to document employee issues.
- Advocate for raises for quality team members.
- Assist other teams, drive to other locations for network strength.
Success metric: less than 35% annual full‑time turnover at the location.
The aviation supervisor reports to and works with the location Operations Manager to ensure 7‑day coverage; both positions report to a Regional Manager.
Requirements- Lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist.
- Clean to high level of detail up to 8 hours per day.
- Medically cleared to operate heavy machinery and perform all physical work.
- Excellent communication; available 24/7 by cell phone with a consistent number.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Pass a basic background check.
- Pass a drug screening.
