Class A Tanker Yard Driver

Safety‑Kleen is looking for a Local/Yard Class A Tanker Driver to join their safety‑conscious team in

E. Chicago, IN. In this role you will be running empty tanks from

E. Chicago, IN to Wolf Lake, IN and averaging 55 hours per week.

• Two shift options available, offering shift differential for overnight shift.

Drivers average $90‑105 K per year. A $7,500 sign‑on bonus is available. Drivers work from home daily. Compensation includes hourly wages.

Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times. Operates tractor‑tanker units. Adheres to weight limits and ensures proper utilization of the units. Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste, properly securing the loads. Placards the vehicle in accordance with company and Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).

Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to climb and work from heights
• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
