As Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for the successful coordination of all Lovisa freight moving in and out of Canada, United States, and Mexico– including daily contact with all freight and logistics service providers, across air, sea, and land channels, with a focus on delivery performance in to stores, delivery performance to end customers (B2C) and close management of all associated costs and KPI’s.

This role is in office at our Lovisa Warehouse in Columbus, Ohio.
 This is not a hybrid/remote position.
 The Logistics Specialist – Americas will be responsible for:
 ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
 Daily supervision and prompt exception management of stock shipments from DC to stores in assigned markets (CA, US, & MX)- including Fresh Service tickets.
 Working with customs agents to ensure flawless execution of customs clearance process to deliver goods on time on time to warehouse or to the store directly.
 Tracking status of all stock shipped from the warehouse to stores to ensure on time delivery.
 Exception management by working closely with courier companies to solve all delivery issues
 Coordinating and monitoring transport of goods (stock and non-stock) delivery in accordance with new stores dispatch schedule
 Ongoing support of customs processes, duty mitigation and compliance initiatives.
 Managing claims related to lost goods and service quality including: raising claims, filling in claim forms and claim status tracking.
 Processing duty and freight invoices to ensure proper booking and on time payments.
 Supporting initiatives and cost saving opportunities.
 Report on carrier performance, lead times and cost to serve flagging concerns to Line Manager.
 Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents - gather and maintain all data records relative to shipping activities
 Liaise with warehouse management to ensure that all outgoing shipments are compliant with local regulations/carrier requirements, are correctly packaged and have the correct documentation attached
 Deliver key Projects and Initiatives as required. Drive change management to support.
 Work closely with Internationally based counterparts, share market knowledge and backfill for this position when required
 Other ad hoc tasks related to Logistics and Warehousing.
