Job Summary
The Director, Strike Logistics provides strategic oversight and execution of all logistics operations supporting labor disruption events, including housing, travel, transportation, and onsite logistics coordination.
Job Responsibilities- Travel at a moment's notice for extended periods of time.
- Direct and oversee concurrent logistics work streams (housing, travel, ground transportation, induction/orientation support), ensuring alignment, prioritization, and execution under compressed timelines.
- Drive coordination across cross‑functional teams to eliminate silos and ensure unified delivery across all logistics channels.
- Build, lead, and develop high‑performing logistics teams; hold team members accountable for execution, outcomes, and adherence to SLAs.
- Coach and empower team members to lead up, proactively identifying risks, proposing solutions, and influencing decision‑making across leadership levels.
- Lead logistics execution in fast‑paced, high‑risk, and time‑sensitive strike environments, ensuring rapid problem‑solving and continuous operational continuity.
- Maintain real‑time visibility into logistics performance, proactively addressing disruptions, delays, or risks.
- Establish clear escalation paths, decision frameworks, and ownership structures to ensure timely resolution of issues impacting logistics execution.
- Identify logistics risks (e.g., vendor capacity, transportation disruptions, housing shortages) and develop mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Standardize logistics practices across events to support consistency and enterprise readiness.
- Monitor vendor performance, service level adherence, and logistical KPIs; implement corrective actions as needed to maintain operational excellence.
- Deliver post‑event analysis and continuous improvement recommendations to strengthen future response capabilities.

Bachelor’s Degree plus 7‑10 years of work experience within logistics management OR High School Diploma/GED plus 11‑14 years of work experience within logistics management. - Additional
Experience:
Prior experience in the hospitality industry; experience in managing operations during a strike event.
Physical Requirements
Work is performed in an office/home office environment. Team members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Pay Rate$106,500 - $133,000 per year. The final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location. This position may include additional compensation such as bonus or commission.
