• Source, vet, and onboard transportation carriers, including trucking companies and logistics providers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers to develop a reliable and scalable network
• Negotiate competitive carrier rates based on market conditions, freight lanes, and customer requirements
• Evaluate pricing to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions
• Schedule and manage shipments from pickup through delivery
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, disruptions, or service issues
• Ensure all shipment details and documentation are accurate and complete
• Communicate shipment updates and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer expectations and service requirements
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation, including bills of lading and related records
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
• Monitor market trends, capacity, and pricing fluctuations
• Analyze carrier and shipment data to identify operational improvements and cost-saving opportunities
• Report on carrier performance and shipment metrics
• Implement contingency plans and resolve claims or service disruptions as needed

• Develop and manage carrier relationships to support daily freight operations
• Coordinate transportation activities to ensure on-time pickup and delivery performance
• Negotiate freight rates and secure carrier capacity to meet customer needs
• Maintain consistent communication with carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders
• Utilize transportation systems and tools to manage loads, track shipments, and maintain records
• Support customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution
• Maintain organized and accurate shipment documentation and reporting
• Stay informed on transportation market conditions, industry trends, and regulatory requirements
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
• Contribute to operational efficiency through problem-solving and process improvement efforts
