TRC Service Technician - Heavy Duty​/Truck - Remote

What will you do?

• Assist drivers with emergency roadside assistance.
• Assist drivers in locating suitable repair locations.
• Provide accurate documentation on all maintenance and repair events.
• Verify that all repair and maintenance work is necessary and done at a fair price.
• Review and authorize all repairs for fleet vehicles as necessary.
• Document all instances where a cost savings is realized.
• Ensure appropriate preventative maintenance schedule is followed.
• Maintain all monthly metrics at or above the established goal.
• Offer assistance willingly and make a positive contribution to morale.
• Show sensitivity to and consideration for others’ feelings.
• Maintain punctual, regular and consistent attendance.
• Respond positively to change, offer suggestions for improvements, remain calm and professional under pressure and accept constructive criticism positively.
• Carry out assignments carefully with appropriate follow-up.
• Overcome obstacles to meet goals.
• Accept personal accountability for actions.
• Keep manager and/or coworkers informed of work progress and other necessary information.
• Maintain a positive relationship with management and other workers, listen effectively.
• Complete transactions with accuracy while providing a high level of quality service.
• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent, vocational or technical education recommended.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, typing – 20-25 wpm.
• 15+ years of experience in automotive or truck repair.
• ASE certified in 8 car or 6 truck repair categories.
• Pay: $25-30 per hour, depending on experience.
• Hybrid location (#LI-HYBRID #LI-CD1).
