Job Purpose

CDL Class A or B Truck Drivers are needed for Mobile Rail Crews. The position can be based in Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, or other U.S. states. The driver will work 27 continuous days on the road followed by 9 days off, with company‑provided transportation to and from home during the off period.

  • Operate trucks equipped with clutch, manual gear shifts (requires CDL Class A or

    B).
  • Operate a boom‑truck with a small knuckle‑boom crane.
  • Use a cutting torch to cut railroad track sections.
  • Work 22 days on a schedule with 7 days scheduled off.
  • Perform physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs periodically.
  • Work outdoors, in various weather conditions, along railroad tracks.
Education / Training
  • Maintain a valid CDL Class A or B license.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Maintain a valid CDL Class A or B license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving experience.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Proficient with manual‑shift transmission.
  • Able to travel and be away from home for 22‑day periods.
  • Operate a truck‑mounted small knuckle‑boom crane.
  • Operate a cutting torch.
  • Pass a post‑offer drug screening and be subject to random drug testing.
