Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Scheduling and coordinating load shipments while overseeing trucking operations
- Transporting crushed rock, sand, gravel, broken concrete, debris, broken asphalt, etc. to and from specified locations. Verifying the types of materials being transported and ensuring that materials are loaded
- Inspect trucks/tractors/trailers before and after every trip or as required by management
- Maintain accurate driver logs
- Education Requirements:
High School diploma or GED - Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Five years+ experience driving a truck and trailer
- Must have a valid Medical Examiners Certificate – must pass DOT physical
- Good Driving Record
- Proven experience operating tractor/trailers, dump trucks, walking floor trailers, etc.
- Working knowledge of construction site safety, truck maintenance, and road safety regulations
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- US Citizen
- Must be able to work 8 to 12-hour workdays, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends
- Ability to be punctual and dependable
- A strong commitment to safety and quality work
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees, external vendors and other business associates
- Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions

- This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.
- This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation “safety‑sensitive” functions.

Occasional travel is required. The job is onsite, no ability to work from home. Schedule and flexibility: 40+ hrs a week.

If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required and must also be able to obtain access to military installations.
