Red Fox Medical Courier is a specialized medical courier service providing secure transport of infectious samples and Class 2 pharmaceuticals across more than 25 cities across the U.S. The organization operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, supporting healthcare facilities with time-sensitive, mission-critical deliveries. The Logistics Coordinator is a part-time, hybrid role based in Tampa, FL, with some work-from-home flexibility. This position is responsible for scheduling and tracking medical courier routes, monitoring delivery status, and coordinating with drivers to ensure timely, compliant transport of specimens and pharmaceuticals. Day-to-day tasks include updating dispatch systems, managing documentation and chain-of-custody records, communicating with healthcare clients about pickup and delivery details, and addressing any service issues or delays.

The role also involves maintaining inventory and supply levels related to transport materials, supporting adherence to HITECH, HIPAA, and PHI requirements, and collaborating with internal teams to improve operational efficiency.

• Candidates should possess strong communication skills, able to assist drivers when they are melting down in the field, having compassion to guide a driver through a difficult decision. Communicate with clients for all real time updates.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to manage client requests, resolve issues, and maintain a high level of service quality. Always thinking ahead.
• Relevant skills and qualifications include attention to detail, reliability in time‑critical environments, basic computer proficiency (e.g., dispatch or routing software)
• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or healthcare support is beneficial, as is the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, or weekends as needed.
