Class A CDL Solo Truck Drivers (OTR & Teams)
DSL Express and partners are now hiring experienced Class A CDL solo truck drivers to operate our updated and modernized fleet. Company drivers with 2+ years of experience and a decent MVR/PSP score are required. Positions are available ASAP and drivers are welcome from Arkansas and surrounding Fayetteville, AR area, as well as other states. Nationwide OTR routes are available. Pay starts at $104,000 per year for full‑time drivers and increases with additional effort.

Average pay ranges from $1,900 to $2,400 per week, with peaks reaching $2,700+ during legal hours. Slow season averages $1,900–$2,100, peak season $2,100–$2,400. Rare slow weeks dip to $1,500 and rare peak weeks hit $2,700+. On a normal year, Q1 is slow, Q2 is peak, Q3 is mediocre, and Q4 is peak.
Preferred Percentage Based Solo Driver Pay – Better in this 1 to 2 Day Run Market- Pay up to 30% line haul plus bonuses.
- Average pay in the dry season is $1,900–$2,100, with rare best weeks of about $2,400+ and a rare slow week of about $1,500.
- Average pay in the peak season is $2,100–$2,400, with rare best weeks of about $2,700+ and a rare slow week of about $1,900.
- Average miles range 2,000–3,000 per week.
- Option to switch to up to 60 cents per mile plus bonuses, depending on experience and MVR (up to 65 for manual drivers).
- Average miles when doing miles pay is 2,500–3,600 per week.

- Team members can drive up to 75 cents per mile plus bonuses.

- Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
- Valid CDL Class A without pending suspensions.
- Ability to work with modern ELD systems.
- Pass a drug test; no recent drug or alcohol violations.
- Valid medical card issued.
- Stable work history and good references.
- No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents in the last 3 years.
- No failed or refused drug or alcohol test in the last 4 years.
- No DWI's, DUI's, or BAC's in the last 4 years.
- No reckless driving convictions in the last 3 years.
- No license suspension for points or unpaid tickets in the last 3 years.
- No more than 2 moving violations during the last year.
- Provide at least 3 years of work history; non‑driving work history for the past 3 years will also be verified with previous employers and references.
