Logistics Specialist

As a Logistics Specialist, you will perform a variety of logistics, mail center, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and distribution functions within the Logistics Assistance Center (LAC). You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient processing of inbound and outbound mail, packages, freight shipments, customer fulfillment requests, and inventory activities while meeting established service level expectations.

In addition, you will operate and maintain corporate vehicles or necessary equipment required for delivery. You will prepare and process outgoing packages according to LAC procedures. You will utilize your understanding of postal regulations and shipping knowledge to process and complete customer requests in a prompt, efficient, and courteous manner, and prepare and process outgoing mail according to postal regulations. You will also process incoming Return Mail into Online tracking tool and sort inbound mail for Service Center distribution.

Lastly, you will operate and maintain Quadient DS1200s and SMART postal accounting software.

The nature of the job duties for this position will require you to be in the office 100% of the time. Your presence in-office is critical to effectively perform the responsibilities of the role. Occasional remote work may be permitted based on workload and/or other ad-hoc situations that support it, with manager approval.
