CDL A Fleet Driver

Clarion Transportation is hiring CDL A Regional Dry Van Drivers in Shippenville, PA. Drivers will be regionally and locally delivering manufactured bathware as well as the pickup and delivery of backhauls. Compensation

• Annual pay: $80,000+ per year
• Starting 57 CPM, increases with length of service
• Paid actual miles
• Additional pay:
  • Drop pay: $20for each stop
  • Detention pay: $20 per hour
  • Layover pay
  • Holiday pay after 30 days employed
• Bonuses:
  • $4,000 Sign on bonus paid out over first 2 years of employment
  • $1,000 Driver referral bonus
  • Quarterly safety bonus: $200
  • Clean DOT inspection bonus: $50 per clean inspection
  • Efficiency bonus included in base CPM
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home time:
  Home weekends for 34 hour reset & home 1-2 nights during the week
• Schedule:
  
  Typically leave out Sundayand home for reset Friday
• Route:
  East coast (MA as far south as GA), I95 corridor and east of Mississippi, NO NYC!
• Level of Touch:
  
  Drivers will often assist with unloading using a handtruck and will need to secure the freight using straps

• Newer model Freightliner Cascadia tractors & Great Dane trailers
• Automatic transmission fleet
• Governed speed: 70
• Outward facing cameras
• ELD equipped using Motive system
• Amenities: APU,power inverters, refrigerator, air ride seats w/ temp control, upgraded mattress

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21years of age
• Must have CDL A license
• Must have a minimum of 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
• No more than 3 DOT recordable accidents in the last 5 years
• No speeding tickets over 15mph in the last 3 years
• No reckless driving convictions
• Must meet Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
