Required Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Previous experience in transportation, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting
  • Basic knowledge of wheelchair lifts and securing mobility devices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to assist residents with mobility needs in a courteous and respectful manner
Major

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, social outings, and facility events
  • Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle, including securing wheelchairs and walkers
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle
  • Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and facilitytransportationpolicies
  • Communicate effectively with nursing and administrative staff regardingtransportationschedules and resident needs
  • Provide a positive and friendly experience for residents during transportation
  • Assist with other duties as needed to support resident mobility and engagement
