Company-Provided Vehicle & Expenses: The company will provide a 26-foot box truck and cover all delivery-related expenses, including fuel, insurance, maintenance, lodging, and approved travel costs.
Salary: $50,000–$75,000 annually, commensurate with experience
Location: Waterloo/Cedar Falls, IA area
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday; occasional overnight travel
Position OverviewThe company is seeking a dependable Box Truck Driver to complete regional deliveries throughout Iowa and the Midwest. This home-based position requires safe transportation, accurate delivery documentation, and professional customer service. Drivers are home most weekends.
Responsibilities- Safely operate a company-provided 26-foot box truck.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload finished products.
- Coordinate delivery schedules with operations, warehouse staff, and customers.
- Complete vehicle inspections, DOT logs, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.
- Ensure products arrive safely, accurately, and on time.
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
- Report vehicle maintenance concerns and delivery issues promptly.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and warehouse duties when needed.
- Maintain a clean and professional vehicle.
- Must reside near Waterloo or Cedar Falls, Iowa.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Box truck, straight truck, or commercial delivery experience preferred.
- CDL is not required.
- Comfortable with regional travel and occasional overnight stays.
- Able to lift and unload materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication, organization, reliability, and customer-service skills.
- Able to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively.
