Position: Home‑Based Learjet Captain (PIC) – Air Ambulance Missions

Your mission
  • Plan and execute air ambulance flights in accordance with company procedures, FAA regulations, and aircraft flight manuals.
  • Obtain and interpret flight briefings covering mission purpose, weather, operating procedures, and special instructions.
  • Lead and supervise crew members to ensure thorough flight planning, preparation, and adherence to SOPs.
  • Oversee loading and distribution of patients, passengers, and cargo; verify weight and balance within limits using approved methods/tools.
  • Communicate clearly, effectively, and promptly with crew, medical teams, dispatch, clients, vendors, and ground personnel.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor; represent the company with the highest standards of safety and service.
  • Safely transport patients on fixed-wing missions while exercising sound judgment and captaincy at all times.
What you’ll bring
  • Minimum 2,000 hours total pilot time in fixed-wing aircraft.
  • FAA Commercial with Instrument and MEL, plus ATP (unrestricted or restricted).
  • Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.
  • Valid passport; unrestricted ability to travel internationally; U.S. work authorization.
  • Ability to pass TSA background screening and obtain required airport authority and/or U.S. Customs security badges.
  • Required:

    Air-carrier flight experience in turbojet aircraft or two-pilot crew operations.
  • Required:

    Learjet or similar aircraft experience.
  • Preferred (not required): 1,000 hours turbine PIC or multi-engine time;
    Part 135 or flight-instructor experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the Operations Manual, FAA regulations, Operations Specifications, flight manuals, and related operating procedures.
