What’s a typical day as Logistics Specialist? You’ll be:

• Processing all U.S. and Canadian, internal and external orders into shipping documents and invoices and ensuring timely distribution.
• Collaborating closely with Sales, Shipping, Inventory Control, and Production to maintain smooth inter-company communication.
• Providing order tracking, freight rate quotes, and maintaining knowledge of all shipping modes for efficient transportation.
• Managing damaged freight procedures, including filing and processing claims, and auditing/correcting/approving freight bills.
• Maintaining up-to-date certification on all modes of Hazardous Material Transportation.
• Ensuring compliance with corporate policy and procedures and escalating issues when necessary.
• Interacting daily with internal departments and external carriers, and providing support to customers as requested.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

• Bring at least 2+ years of experience in a traffic or logistics role.
• Maintain current hazardous certification in all modes of transport.
• Possess strong clerical, computer, and office equipment skills.
