Dispatcher, Transportation

We’re partnering with a fast-growing logistics and transportation company in Houston to find an experienced Dispatcher to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in dispatch, trucking, freight, or logistics who wants to take on more responsibility and have a direct impact on the operation.

• Coordinate and dispatch freight while ensuring loads are handled efficiently and on schedule
• Communicate with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams throughout the shipment process
• Track active loads and proactively address delays, issues, or changes
• Coordinate pickup and delivery details and ensure required documentation is completed
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and transportation partners
• Assist with load planning, scheduling, and day-to-day transportation operations
• Help ensure loads are completed accurately and efficiently from pickup through delivery
• Support both carrier and brokerage operations as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve margins, service, and operational efficiency

• Previous experience in dispatch, transportation, trucking, freight, or logistics
• Experience working with carriers, drivers, or transportation providers
• Understanding of the freight/transportation industry
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple loads and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly when issues arise
• Comfortable working in an office-based, team-oriented environment
• Experience with a TMS or transportation software is a plus
• Brokerage or 3PL experience is a plus

• $60,000-$70,000 base salary
  , depending on experience
• Dispatchers are currently averaging $100K+ in total compensation based on margins/bonus
• Hybrid Schedule - 4 Days in Office | 1 Day Work From Home
