Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Accounting Specialist for a well-established, construction supply company. This is an onsite, temp-to-hire opportunity based in Ontario, California.
POSITION OVERVIEWThe Accounting Specialist will support day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, proactive, and comfortable working within a collaborative, blue-collar team setting.

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payment tracking
- Prepare and send invoices, and follow up on outstanding balances
- Assist with contracts, vendor setup, and credit applications
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Support general administrative and accounting tasks as needed
- Utilize Quick Books for daily accounting functions
- Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations
- Proficiency in Quick Books
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in construction or a related industry preferred
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $25–$30, depending on experience, with the potential to convert to a full-time role.
