Business Development Manager – Commercial Security Services (Inland Empire, CA)

MUST LIVE IN SOUTHERN CA.

About the Role

We are a growing commercial security company expanding in the Inland Empire. We are hiring a Business Development Manager to build relationships with property managers and win new accounts.

This is a field-based, prospecting-driven role. You will generate your own opportunities through networking, drop‑ins, cold outreach, and industry involvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect commercial properties daily.
  • Conduct in‑person drop‑ins at shopping centers and office buildings.
  • Build and manage a pipeline using our CRM.
  • Attend industry associations such as BOMA, IREM, and CREW.
  • Schedule and lead in‑person meetings.
  • Prepare proposals and follow up consistently.
  • Submit weekly activity and pipeline reports.
What Success Looks Like
  • 20 or more new contacts added weekly.
  • 10 or more property visits per week.
  • Consistent event attendance and networking activity.
  • Active pipeline growth within the first 60 days.
  • First deals closing within 4 to 6 months.
Compensation
  • Base salary: $60,000 to $65,000.
  • Uncapped commission structure.
  • Strong performers can earn $90,000 to $110,000 or more.
  • Clear path to increased earnings based on performance.
Qualifications
  • 2 to 4 years of sales experience preferred.
  • Experience selling commercial or service‑based solutions is a plus.
  • Prior experience calling on property managers or commercial real estate professionals is strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable with in‑person prospecting and networking.
  • Organized and disciplined with follow‑up.
  • Experience using a CRM system.
Work Structure
  • Remote position.
  • Heavy field presence in the Inland Empire.
  • Weekly reporting and CRM usage required.
